The Wrightwood Community Services District was founded on July 1, 2017, to oversee local parks, recreation, solid waste management, streetlights, and wastewater services. It receives funding from property taxes collected in San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties and is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The District’s mission is to empower the community through engagement and action, foster a lively parks and recreation department, improve infrastructure, streamline solid waste operations, safeguard natural resources, and maintain fiscal responsibility in its governance. The WCSD also offers facility rentals for events and a wide variety of recreational classes

The mission of the Wrightwood Historical Society is to collect, preserve, display, and interpret the history of Wrightwood and the surrounding areas that have a direct impact on Wrightwood. We are a community educational organization dedicated to the interpretation of history through a collection of artifacts and memorabilia donated to the Wrightwood Museum.
